Salem Ibrahim, the Managing Director, is admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and is also a Barrister of England and Wales. A senior lawyer at the Singapore Bar, he is also appointed Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths in Singapore.
Prior to practicing law, he spent 15 years in commerce and industry. He brings from this background skills to achieve commercial solutions for clients.
The son of a doctor, he was inspired to read law by his elder brother, Ahmad Ibrahim, Singapore’s first Attorney General.
He has strong domain knowledge in financial transactions, information technology, a wide range of business transactions, property transactions, insolvency, logistics and cross border transactions.
In aviation, he gives legal and commercial support to clients in international sale, purchase and financing of commercial aircraft and private jets, aircraft operations and leasing. He holds a pilot’s licence. He is able to draw from this skill and knowledge for aviation litigation.
In dispute resolution, he represents clients in civil and commercial crime, arbitration, building construction, insolvency, family, insurance, medical negligence, defamation, intellectual property and Islamic law cases. He appears at all levels of court and has led in landmark cases.
Prior to starting this law practice, he was the deputy senior partner of a leading law firm in Singapore. He has also served as director of an international association of law firms from 51 cities.
